To register, visit Honda of Ocala during normal business hours and guess how many sports balls have been loaded into the 2010 Honda Civic in the showroom. Whoever guesses correctly, or is the closest without going over, will drive away on September 11th in a new 2010 Honda Civic.

Those who remember and enjoyed the Flipside Cafe off State Road 200 will be pleased to know that brothers Brandon Bedard and Corey Elkins are back in the kitchen at Honda of Ocala in the Pit Stop Cafe. Forced to close after losing their lease, Honda of Ocala heard of their story and decided they could help.

At the time, the dealership was in the process of a multi-million dollar remodel and planned to include a customer refreshment station. When word spread around town about the closure of the local eatery, Honda of Ocala saw an opportunity. General Manager Tom Moore approached the brothers to find out if they would be interested in re-opening at Honda of Ocala as the Pit Stop Cafe. When they agreed, Moore immediately went to dealership owner, Larry Morgan, with his idea to redesign the customer refreshment area into a full service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.

“It’s really something unique. We were able to help out a local business and add something different to our dealership that you can’t find in many other dealerships around the country. There are folks that stop by every day for breakfast or lunch that were regular customers at their old location and are happy to see that they have reopened,” said Moore.

Be sure to stop by the next time you bring your vehicle into the service department at Honda of Ocala for complimentary coffee and donuts while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced. The Pit Stop Cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 3pm and serves breakfast and lunch each day.
